About the Seminar:

The study of how law interacts with rapidly evolving technology is more important than ever before. Science and technology have had a significant impact on the development of human civilization and have presented us with new perspectives on the world we live in. It was crucial in changing India and the rest of the globe into a modern, industrialized society. Intellectual Property Rights, Cyber Law, Labor Laws and Trade Law have all been influenced by technology.

This  Seminar  aims  to  gather  input  from  a  diverse  range  of stakeholders on legal issues relating to technology, as well as to understand from the thicket of purported conclusions reached in the recent past by Courts, regulators, technocrats, and commentators on these issues, and to generate testable theories and suggestions in the field of technology and its legal aspects. The major goal is to raise awareness among academicians, research scholars, students, and even the general public about the interconnection of law, science, and technology.

Call for Papers:

University invites well researched and unpublished research papers, case analysis, articles by Academicians, Policymakers, Journalist, Lawyers, Bureaucrats, Research scholars and Students. Research papers shall be subject to the approval of the Editorial Board for inclusion in the seminar. The Seminar calls for papers under the following sub-themes. However, the list is only indicative and in exhaustive. Any other topic related to the Seminar theme may also be submitted.

E-Commerce regulatory landscape in light of Consumer Protection, Foreign Direct Investment Developments, Unfair Terms and Information Technology Rules, 2021.

Note: Abovementioned Sub-Themes are prescriptive and Author/Authors can write papers on any topic within the scope of the main theme or related to the mentioned Sub-Themes.

Important Dates:

Abstract shall be submitted on or before 5th November, 2022 (latest by 11:59 pm).

The intimation of selected abstracts will be done by 10th November, 2022

Full papers need to be submitted by 20th December, 2022 (latest by 11:59 pm).

The Author(s) of accepted abstracts have to register for the seminar by 20th December, 2022.

National Seminar is scheduled to be organized on 7th & 8th January, 2023
