Today First ever All India District Legal Service Authority Meet was organized at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi. CJI N V Ramana inspired and motivated for overall quality improvement system.
CJI N V Ramana:
“Justice social, economic and political that is vision of justice which is promised in the Preamble to every Indian… the reality today is that only small percentage of people approach judicial delivery system when in the need.”
“The district Judicial officers are the first point of contact for much of the population. Public opinion about the judiciary primarily based on experience with the District Judiciary. This casts great responsibility.”
“District Judiciary is the driving force behind legal aid movement in India.”
“Strenghthening ADR and Lok Adalat is an important agenda. ADR ,Lok Adalat, Gram Nyayalayas, Mediation, Arbitration Centers have the potential to transform the legal landscape of India by providing millions of people a platform.”

Justice DY Chandrachud:
“In a nation as vast as our where graded inequality still persists, justice ought not to be limited to socio economic privileged sections of our society.”
“It is the duty of state actors to secure just and egalitarian social order in which legal system promotes justice and ensure opportunities for securing justice are not denied to any segment of the society.”
“Appropriate technologies must be developed locally and close consultation with the beneficiaries in order to optimize the benefits we provide …technologies must not be used to substitute the role and labor of human kind rather to aid and enhance the work of humans.”
