Supreme Court Becomes Paperless, Facilities Like Pop-up Screen, Digital Library Started For Judges
The paperless green court room has started in the Supreme Court of India from July 3. After the introduction of this paperless green court room, the Supreme Court has now become completely hi-tech reported news18.
With the use of state-of-the-art modern technology, paperless green courts have replaced physical copies of pop-up screen documents for judges. It has replaced the books related to a digital library law. In the history of 73 years, Indian Judiciary has now started becoming completely hi-tech. The first 3 courts of the Supreme Court have become green hi-tech courts. Now there will be no files, nor will the books of the decisions of the Supreme Court of the last 50 years be seen here.
This hi-tech start in the Supreme Court is being seen as a new initiative of Chief Justice (CJI) DY Chandrachud. Futuristic courts have started from Monday. Large LCDs have been installed in the chambers of these courts and hi-tech facilities have also been introduced for the lawyers.
Papers can be shown to judges through computer. Judges will also be able to see various judgments in digital way instead of law books. Apart from Courts 1 to 5, Wi-Fi has been started for litigants, lawyers and media persons in corridor, media room, waiting room etc.
