Madhya Pradesh News: Six Women Judges Sacked Simultaneously In MP
The Madhya Pradesh administration made a hard choice and simultaneously terminated (sacked) six female judges. It wasn’t functioning properly, and its performance wasn’t deemed adequate. This judge was currently on probation. This significant move was made by the Madhya Pradesh Department of Law and Legislative Affairs.
These women judges were recommended to be dismissed in the administrative committee meeting and full court meeting of the Madhya Pradesh High Court. Based on this recommendation, the Madhya Pradesh government has taken the decision. All these women were posted in different districts of the state. Notification in this regard has been issued in the Gazette after dismissal from services.
This is probably happened for the first time in the history of the state, while simultaneously six women judges have been shown the way out of the job. There were allegations against them that during their job, all these judges were not able to discharge their duties satisfactorily during the probation period.
On May 8 and 10, 2023, the Administrative Committee of the Madhya Pradesh High Court met. A full court meeting was then held in this regard on May 13, 2023. A suggestion to the government to fire the aforementioned judges was made at these sessions. Following this, on June 9, the Law Department took action and fired the female judges.
