ROUND II: 20 OCTOBER, 2022

ABOUT THE COMPETITION:

The Competition is being conducted by Himachal Pradesh National Law University, Shimla in association with National Human Rights Commission, and SCC Online and Eastern Book Company, who shall be the Exclusive Knowledge
Partners for 3rd HPNLU National Moot Court Competition, 2022. The Competition shall be held from 28th October to 30th October, 2022 physically/offline at Himachal Pradesh National Law University, Shimla Campus. The 3rd National Moot Court Competition, 2022 shall consist of two stages: Round I, Round II, along with the Researcher’s Test.

Round I:

Round I shall be the “Memorial Qualifier Round.” This round will be open to all teams who have registered for the Competition. Based on the result of round I, a total of 32 will advance to Round II.

Round II:

Round II shall be the Oral Rounds. The teams which will succeed in Round I will be eligible to participate in Round II i.e., Oral Rounds which shall comprise of Preliminary Rounds and Advanced Rounds.

The Competition will have two Preliminary Oral Rounds in which each team shall have to argue twice, once as Petitioner and the other as Respondent. The team which will qualify the Preliminary Rounds will be eligible to participate in Advanced Oral Rounds. The Advanced Oral Rounds will consist of Quarter Final Round, Semi-Final Round, and the Final Round.

REGISTRATION:

Interested teams are required to register for the Competition by filling the Registration Form for Round I. Registration shall not be accepted through any means other than the Registration Form.

The teams are also required to mention the email-id of either the respective committee or the head/dean of the institution in the Provisional Registration Form.

1. Prior payment of INR 1000/- (One Thousand only)(per team) as Registration Fee for Round I is required to fill the Final Registration Form.

2. Teams that qualify Round I (Memorial Qualifier Round) shall proceed to Round II (Oral Rounds) and will be required to make a payment of INR 4000/-(Four Thousand only)
