Shraddha Walkar Murder Case: Saket Court Restrained AAJTAK From Dissemination Any Information

On Monday, Saket Court in ordered aajtak news channel not to use any information pertaining to the FIR filed in the Shraddha Walkar Murder Case  in any way.

The Court beheld that, “When Article 21 of the Constitution protects the life and liberty of a person, it also contemplates the protection of the psychological state of mind of such a person. Any dissemination of sensitive information pertaining to a murder case will definitely result in psychological repercussions for the accused and also for the victim’s family”

The Application was moved by  Inspector Ram Singh for issuance of orders to Aaj Tak and other media channels not to telecast the materials in respect of FIR No. 659/2022, PS Mehrauli.

However, Judge Rakesh Kumar Singh observed that, “application needs to be heard at length not only from the side of the State but also from the side of Aaj Tak news channel.
